We will have some amazing items on display at the hall. A wide selection of recording equipment including Joe's actual pieces from 304!
We encourage local shops and independent sellers to bring your talents to the hall and use the stalls to sell your items. Records, bakes and assorted bits and bobs are all welcome.
Car Show

We want to see a decent turnout of vintage and classic motor vehicles on Meek day!
Vehicles are admitted from 9.30am at the Newent memorial hall and town square until mid afternoon, making way for the evening celebrations that start at 5pm. we aim to fill the hall car park with fantastic cars!
Joe Meek Exhibition
We plan to display some truly important items!
As always, lots of vintage recording equipment will be out on display. This year we will have access to Joe's actual machines from 304!
Cinema Night
We are holding a must see sneak peak screening of the much anticipated documentary - The Unexpected Return of Mr Meek. Evening entry is £5, but if you join the JMS on the day or before, entry is included in your year membership.
Live Music
We welcome The Hornets and the TR5'S to the stage to perform a 45 minute set each. Featuring Meek numbers and 60's classics, both bands will bring much loved music to the town of Newent.

If you are attending out AGM on April the 5th and are not yet a member of the Joe Meek Society, ticket pricing is free for the morning but is charged at £5 for the evening. This includes a pass to a truly incredible evening of entertainment and fun.
We will be starting the day with our usual meeting provided by the board. Outside the venue will be a display of classic motor cars for everyone to enjoy. Stalls will be set up providing unique merchandise from the performing bands ( the TR5'S & the Hornets) alongside local talent such as baked goods and homemade gifts. Vinyl stalls and vintage clothing will also be for sale.
There will Meek music playing throughout the event supplied by our wonderful DJ!! . The evening will begin around 7pm with a one off screening of the nearly completed film The Unexpected Return Of Mr Meek and will be followed by rare footage of Meek bands and artists till the evening brings closure.
